Information GrowGrow stores
GrowGrow creates an anonymous account identifier when you get started. If you later use Sign in with Apple, we store Apple's app-specific user identifier and the credentials needed to keep that account connected. We do not request or store your name, email address, Apple password, or payment-card information through Sign in with Apple.
Promises and progress
We store the preset or custom promise you choose, any custom text you enter, the plant and 3-, 5-, or 7-day duration, your local date and time zone used to schedule progress, check-in dates and results, promise status, and completed Garden entries. This information is linked to your GrowGrow account so the app can display and synchronize your progress.
Purchases
GrowGrow Pro is processed by Apple. We receive and store the product identifier, transaction identifiers, purchase environment and date, revocation status, and the GrowGrow account claiming the entitlement so we can verify, unlock, restore, and revoke Pro access. Apple handles your payment details under Apple's policies.
Information stored on your device
GrowGrow stores session credentials in the iOS Keychain and keeps account, entitlement, active-promise, and Garden cache data on your device to restore your state and keep the app responsive. This local data is cleared through the app's account deletion and account-change flows as applicable.
How we use and share information
We use this information only for app functionality: account access, promise progress, plant growth, Garden display, cloud synchronization, purchase verification and restoration, security, and support. Information is processed by service providers needed to host the backend and database, and by Apple for Sign in with Apple and App Store purchases. If you email support, your email address and message are handled by your email provider and ours solely to respond to your request.
No tracking or advertising
GrowGrow does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs, does not sell personal information, and does not use information to track you across apps or websites.
Retention and account deletion
We retain account and progress information while your account is active or as needed to operate the service. You can permanently delete your account in GrowGrow under Settings → Account → Delete Account. Deletion removes the account link, saved promises, check-ins, custom goals, Garden entries, sessions, and Sign in with Apple credentials from our systems, and GrowGrow requests revocation of its Apple authorization when applicable. A de-linked App Store transaction verification record may remain to administer the non-consumable entitlement, and Apple retains App Store transaction records under Apple's policies. A verified purchase may be restored later.
